What else has been happening, the logo is starting to take shape courtesy of one of our fabulous artists Mark Whit. We ran a public poll on facebook to see which one people liked best and the comments and feedback were really useful. We're still getting loads of interest from those wanting to be involved in some way. Bumped into my old ceramics tutor on the weekend and as a practioner it was really encouraging that he saw the massive potential too. It's all well and good your friends and family being enthusiastic but when you have to sell the idea cold to someone new to the project and they get excited you know that it has merit.
There are just so many fabulous people finding us right now, and the ideas are coming in thick and fast that once we get past the initial hurdles of 'eek I forgot we needed a plug there' we should be on a roll. Hopefully there is enough sustainability built into the project proposal that it willl keep going for years to come, which is what we want. Had nightmares the other night about are we just creating another white elephant that will disappear in three years but then you get the emails and phone calls offering help, support and cross promotion and general enthusiasm for it that the nightmare quickly fades into pre-project jitters.
The only real snag at the moment is that because we have set up so many new accounts on various sites, for the life of me I can't remember the flipping passwords! So, off to find a little notebook and jot them all down - and knowing me promptly put it somewhere so safe that it's never seen again! As always, massive huge thank you to all sailing on the good ship Bloater ..... really must stop saying that as it will become stuck and our logo will need changing again :)
