Our main focus was to gather feedback from those involved, what's worked well, what should the Co-op concentrate on next and generally getting everyone to help shape the next steps. We have been extremely well received in the Pop up shop to date and have now had an extension confirmed until the end of August 2014. In March we had just over 2,000 customers through the door and the numbers are growing steadily so we know it's working. Thank you to to all the volunteers both in the shop and behind the scenes that keep it running as without them nothing would happen at all. One thing that isn't on the feeback sheets but was giggled about a few times is that we may need to consider another venue more suited to those over 5' 3" (apologies from the Hobbit amongst us who never has that issue!).
These are the transcribed sheets that everyone contributed too, and please feel free to use the comments box under this blog post to carry on the discussion or add something else now that you have seen what others have mentioned. If you would prefer to email more detailed comments then please use firstname.lastname@example.org,uk and we will include it in later discussions. We put 6 flipchart pages with various headings around the room and asked people to add their thoughts and comments about each statement, it generated some really interesting discussions and got people chatting to each other and sharing experiences and suggestions which was great. These are not finished documents but a starting point and we know as the project changes and grows then the comments and direction will change - as it should over time.
